Honouring Kim Borg and Raising Pancreatic Cancer Awareness

A Touch of Purple is a campaign that has been created by devoted group of purple angels who lost their loved one, Kim Borg on 4th August 2024 to pancreatic cancer.

Kim's legacy will continue to live though A Touch of Purple, and fundraising events that take place in her honour.  The funds raised will help PanKind continue to invest in cutting edge research that aims to drive up patient survival rates and improve quality of life.

Kim's bubbly personality and big smile radiated across any room she was in. Irrespective of the challenges she encountered during her cancer journey, Kim's positive attitude never failed to uplift the people that surrounded her. With a heart of gold, Kim would help others at the drop of a hat.  Her bravery, courage and determination to survive was nothing short of inspirational. But tragically, like so many others, Kim succumbed to this devastating disease 22 months post diagnosis.

Team Kim is on a mission to make a significant difference and give hope to those impacted by pancreatic cancer.  We created ‘A Touch of Purple’ to honour the legacy of Kim.  We are dedicated to raising awareness and forming affiliations with likeminded individuals and organisations that are as passionate as we are about creating hope, improving outcomes and driving up survival rates.
