Pankind Carers Support Program

You're not doing this alone.

Caring for someone with pancreatic cancer brings emotional, physical, and practical challenges. The Pankind Carers Support Program is here to help.

What is the program?

The Pankind Carers Support Program offers free, confidential counselling for people who care for or support someone affected by pancreatic cancer. It's a dedicated space to talk about your experiences, and explore strategies that may be helpful - whether that's emotional support, practical guidance, or simply information to help you navigate your caring role.

Sessions are delivered by phone or secure video (telehealth), at times that work for you.

Who is it for?

You may be able to take part if you are:

  • A primary carer or support person for someone living with pancreatic cancer
  • A recently bereaved carer looking for support
  • Someone in a caring or support role who find supportive counselling helpful

The program is available to people across Australia and is free to access.

What's involved?

If the program is suitable for you, you may take part in one-to-one counselling sessions, each up to an hour long, as well as related program evaluation activities. At the end of your sessions, you'll be invited to complete a short survey — your feedback helps us monitor and improve the program over time.
